Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London was the daughter of a British and Canadian actress. Her most well-known role was as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. The role that she played earned her the Golden Globe Award for 2002 as the best supporting female actress. In 2008 and 2010, she played the role in the two films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her main role includes Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 1980s. The model was the winner of her first Miss Sweden competition. In the US the actress began to appear in films with small roles. Her role was soon recognized with the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after appearing in the film Blood Alley.
